Henry B. Plant Museum

The Henry B. Plant Museum is in the former Tampa Bay Hotel, a grand hotel built by railroad magnate Henry B. Plant in the late 19th century. It originally opened in 1891. The Tampa Bay Hotel is known for its distinctive Moorish Revival architecture. The building features elegant minarets, domes, and intricate details, creating a visually stunning and unique structure. The museum displays period rooms that have been restored to reflect the hotel's original grandeur, including the Music Room, the Grand Salon, and the Writing Room.
